The Bavarian International School (BIS) is an international school based in Haimhausen, Bavaria, Germany about a half an hour outside the city of Munich. It is one of Germany's most expensive private schools. The school is a non-profitable organization that has a particularly small student population, comparing to other neighboring international schools, such as Vienna International School, American International School of Salzburg and Munich International School. The current population is approximately 1,005 students aged 4 to 18. The school is split into 2 parts: Secondary School (High School plus Middle School), and a Primary School (Elementary School). BIS sponsors a wide variety of sports throughout the entire school year in 3 different sport "seasons." In the Fall, Cross-Country, Soccer, Swimming, Volleyball, and Middle School Tennis are offered competitively and Rugby, Badminton and Golf lessons are provided for recreation. In the Winter, Basketball, Swimming and Skiing are offered. In the Spring, Track & Field, Girls Softball, Golf, and Upper School Tennis are offered. The largest of which is rugby. Grades 9 and 10 study Middle Years Programme programme (changed from IGCSE in the 2012-2013 school year), whilst grades 11 and 12 study the International Baccalaureate. On 10/09/2014 a large party of teachers were striking at BIS because of poor pay and conditions.〔http://www.thelocal.de/20140910/bavarian-international-school-teachers-strike-over-pay〕 ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Bavarian International School」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
